Karachi: The caretaker government of Sindh imposed a ban on new constructions in the province.
According to Express News, the caretaker government in Sindh has imposed an immediate ban on new constructions, the local government department has also issued a notification in this regard on the instructions of the caretaker minister for local government, Mubeen Jumani.
According to the notification, all types of buildings, houses and commercial plazas maps, all types of building plans, layout plans and amalgamation of plots have been banned.
The ban will apply to Sindh Building Control Authority and all development authorities, instructions have been issued to Karachi Development Authority, Malir Development Authority and Lyari Development Authority in this regard.
Apart from this, the ban will also apply to Hyderabad Development Authority, Sehun Development Authority and Town Planning Department.
According to the notification issued by the Department of Municipalities, the ban on construction and approval of maps and layout plans will remain in place until further notice.
The government has also issued a ban on all types of construction maps and layout plans.
