Afghanistan scored 45 runs in 9 overs without losing any wicket against Pakistan.
In the second match of the series being played in Hambantota, the captain of the Afghan team, Hashmatullah Shahidi, won the toss and decided to bat first. He said that he wants to see a good performance against Pakistan.
Rahmat Shah and Azmatullah Umarzai, who were retired in the first ODI, have been ruled out of the series and have been replaced by Riyaz Hasan and Shahid Kamal in the playing XI.
On this occasion, the captain of the national team, Babar Azam, said that no changes have been made in the team, they will try to win the match and win the series.
In the first match of the series, Pakistan defeated the Afghan team by a huge margin of 142 runs.

Both the teams are playing the series in preparation for mega events like Asia Cup and World Cup, all three matches are being hosted by Afghan Board in Sri Lanka.
