Lahore: It has been decided to ban the programs of 18 dancers performing obscene dances in stage plays across Punjab.
On the recommendation of the Punjab Arts Council, the Punjab Home Ministry has issued show cause notices to the dancers, in which the said dancers have been directed to submit their response within a week.
The show-cause notice said that the dancers should provide an explanation regarding their performances, failing which they would be banned across the province.
