Mexico City: In a terrible traffic accident in Mexico, 16 passengers died and 36 were injured, while the death toll is expected to rise.
According to the World News Agency, a high-speed passenger bus and a trawler collided on the Oaxaca highway in Mexico. The collision was so terrible that the bus’s windows were blown off.
The dead passengers were migrants, including 8 women. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where the death toll is expected to increase due to the critical condition of 7 injured.
There were 52 people on the bus, 10 of whom were from Venezuela and the rest were Mexican citizens. A resident of Wenzela is also among the dead.
The police registered a case and started investigation and raids were started to search for the people involved in human trafficking.
