The very complex and difficult rescue operation of the Pakistan Army in Bitgram was successfully completed, people trapped in the chairlift at a height of 600 feet were rescued.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department ISPR, the General Officer Commanding of the Special Services Group led the rescue operation.
On the instructions of Army Chief General Asim Munir, Army Aviation and SSG teams started the rescue operation quickly.
Sling team of Special Services Group of Pakistan Army and helicopter of Pakistan Air Force also took part in the operation, Army Aviation provided full technical support to the Sling Team.
The ISPR says that the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force pilots showed unparalleled skill and performance in the operation.
A local cable expert was also hired to successfully complete the rescue operation.
The ISPR further said that it was a very difficult and difficult operation, in which the civil administration and local people also actively participated.
