He said that philanthropic lawyers came to the house to condole and assured to fight the case for free.
It should be noted that on August 14, a 10-year-old girl employed in a mansion in Ranipur was killed due to alleged violence.
Asad Shah, the main accused, was arrested after the matter came to light on Geo News, the video of the girl’s agony before her death was also revealed.
The girl’s mother had given an initial statement that the girl’s death was natural. The police did not conduct the medical examination of the girl, nor did the post-mortem, relying on the same statement. The girl was handed over to her parents for burial.
When the videos of torture marks on the girl’s body surfaced, the top police officials took notice and the Station House Officer (SHO) Ranipur was suspended for negligence.
