Washington: President Joe Biden has banned 6 major organizations linked to China’s military for sending spy balloons into American airspace.
According to the international news agency, the statement issued by the US Department of Commerce says that President Joe Biden has imposed a ban on 5 Chinese companies and a research institute.
The companies the US has banned were linked to China’s surveillance balloon program. All of them have been blacklisted in the US. The blacklist also includes Nanyang Aviation Technology and Dongguan Lingkong Technology.

These companies are developing advanced aviation programs for China’s military, including jets and spy balloons. The US has declared the entry of spy balloons into its airspace as a threat to national security.
It should be noted that this week the US claimed to have shot down a spy balloon and a suspicious object in mid-air that were sent by China into US airspace.

On the other hand, China has maintained that the spy balloons were owned by a private company working on climate change, which has nothing to do with the Chinese military, but China has also criticized the destruction of the spy balloon.
