A judge was dismissed from his job in Peshawar on charges of corruption.
According to Express News, District and Sessions Judge Syed Asghar Shah has been dismissed by the Peshawar High Court after the allegations of corruption were proved.
In the order of the High Court, it has been stated that the accused caused a loss of 15 million to the national exchequer while 12 million has been recovered and 3 million remains.
A show-cause notice was issued to the accused before his dismissal, but he did not give any satisfactory reply, leading to his dismissal under the Government Civil Servants Rules, 2011.
