Karachi: A bill to prohibit interest on private loans was presented in the Sindh Assembly.

The session of Sindh Assembly started on Friday with a delay of one hour and ten minutes under the chairmanship of Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani. In the meeting, Sindh Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Information Technology Tanzeela Uma Habiba said that the only way to get the country out of the economic quagmire. There is technology. Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said that the purpose of this bill is to try to control usury in the province. Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani sent the bill to the concerned committee for further consideration.

In addition, during the proceedings of the Sindh Assembly on Friday, MQM Member of Parliament Muhammad Hussain pointed out that the supply of ice and heroin is increasing in Sindh and it is a matter of great concern that young boys and Girls are using it.

The provincial minister replied and said that our boys and girls go to schools, where there is knowledge, action is taken.

GD member Shehryar Mehr said on one of his objections that the law and order situation in Shikarpur is very bad and no one is safe, mobile phones and motorcycles are being stolen daily.

Saeed Ghani replied that this issue is absolutely there. People’s Party provincial government has controlled many things.
