Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir says that very serious negotiations have been held with the IMF in 10 days, many issues have been discussed with the IMF.
Speaking in Geo News’ program ‘Naya Pakistan’, Khurram Dastgir said that the agreement we are following was signed by Imran Khan in April 2019.
The IMF insists that there will be an agreement only on the terms of 2019, the February 2022 agreement has also been torn up by Imran Khan.
Khurram Dastgir said that in February 2022, Imran Khan gave two big subsidies, tried to prevent the rupee from falling, inflation in the country is related to the fall in the value of the rupee.
Khurram Dastgir said that we did not get support from friendly countries.
