Istanbul: A child buried under the rubble was pulled out alive after 68 hours in the southern province of Hata in Turkey, whose video is viral on social media.
According to the Turkish news agency TRT, aid workers said that the child, named Helen, is in good condition and is under the care of the medical unit.
Similarly, a search and rescue team in Adiyaman province pulled four members of the same family alive from under the rubble. Footage shows three of the survivors being carried away on a stretcher.
It should be noted that the death toll from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 15,000 so far.
The number of dead people in Turkey has reached 12 thousand 391 and the number of dead in Syria has reached 2 thousand 992. Thousands of buildings in both countries were destroyed by the earthquake.
