Ex-Finance Minister Miftah Ismail again attacked Dar, saying that they would have removed me and brought in an economist-type person, there are capable people like Ahsan Iqbal in the Muslim League.
Miftah Ismail said in his statement that Dar Sahib’s thinking is upside down, he has to close down people’s factories because of his ego.
It should be noted that since his removal from the ministry, Miftah Ismail continues to taunt Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
Miftah Ismail had earlier said in a statement that Ishaq Dar campaigned against me for 6 months after I became the Finance Minister.
Talking in social media podcast, Miftah Ismail said that Ishaq Dar himself was very fond of becoming the finance minister, he used to say on TV that I will make 160 dollars, used to make programs against me.
Miftah Ismail said that Ishaq Dar was close to Nawaz Sharif, his son is the son-in-law of Nawaz Sharif, he used to say to Nawaz Sharif that I will make the dollar and petrol cheaper.
He had also admitted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was happy with my performance and did not want to remove me. It was the Prime Minister’s discretion to remove me, but the manner in which he removed me was not correct.
Miftah Ismail had said in another interview that Ishaq Dar spoke against me in public, raised questions on my ability to which I replied, the party did not take any action against me.
The former finance minister said that there are many friends in PTI, I am in the Muslim League-N and will not participate in future elections.
