President Norf said that epilepsy drugs are life-saving drugs. There is a shortage of epilepsy drugs in Pakistan. It is the responsibility of the government to provide free drugs to poor epilepsy patients, because drugs Provision of medicine is their basic right. Millions of lives are at risk due to lack of medicines. It can be treated with surgery and various devices.

He said that doctors are conducting training sessions every week, in which different doctors from across the country will participate. The awareness will be held on 13th at Landhi Sisi Hospital. An art competition has been organized in 50 schools. Prizes will be given.

President Pakistan Islamic Medical Association Professor Dr. Abdullah Muttaqi said that this is an important mental disease. There are a large number of epilepsy patients in Pakistan. Epilepsy awareness sessions are organized in February.

Chairperson Epilepsy Foundation Pakistan Dr. Fawzia said that 2 percent of Pakistan’s population is affected by epilepsy, but people are surprised when they hear the name of this disease.
