Islamabad: Chairman PTI has appeared before the Election Commission in the defamation case and will be charged on August 2.
A four-member commission headed by Election Commission member Sindh Nisar Durrani heard the contempt of election commission case. Chairman PTI appeared before the Election Commission.
Member Nisar Durrani said that there was to be a charge frame on Chairman PTI today.
PTI’s lawyer Shoaib Shaheen said that the Election Commission should first decide on our objections, I have been appointed the chairman PTI’s lawyer since the last hearing, I should be given an opportunity to read the case files.

Member Nisar Durrani said that on August 2, Chairman PTI will be indicted, Chairman PTI should also appear in the next hearing.
The Election Commission adjourned the hearing of the contempt case till August 2.
