The meteorological department has predicted that the rain in Karachi will continue till tonight.
In different areas of the city, there was some light and some heavy rain late in the night.
It rained intermittently in various areas including Korangi, Landhi, Shah Faisal, North Karachi and Sarjani Town.
Several domestic and international flights were delayed due to bad weather, while flights to Toronto, Madinah, Muscat and Riyadh were cancelled.

Due to heavy rains in Larkana, a 10 feet wide crack appeared in the Dadu Canal.
