Quetta: Pakistan Customs Anti-Smuggling Quetta seized foreign goods worth more than 24 crore rupees in anti-smuggling campaign operations.
According to Customs Spokesman Dr. Atta Barich, various teams of Customs, including Kolpur, Nushki, Lakpas, Ziarat Cross and other field enforcement units, made records in which Indian banned gutka worth 9 crores were exported from Kolpur, cloth worth Rs. 9 crores, tires, edible oil, non-customs paid vehicles were exported from Lakpas.
According to the customs spokesman, an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of sugar and urea fertilizer from Lakpas was foiled, thousands of bags of sugar and fertilizer were also recovered from Nushki, 5 valuable non-customs paid smuggled vehicles were recovered from Ziarat crossing.
