Arshad Khan, director of the examination department, was going to Peshawar from Charsadda for duty
Peshawar: The Director of Public Service Commission was killed in the firing incident in the provincial capital.
According to the police, the firing incident took place near Duranpur on Ring Road. Arshad Khan, son of Hamdullah, Director of Examination Department of Public Service Commission, was on his way to Peshawar from Charsadda for his duty when he was shot and killed by unknown suspects near Duranpur.
As soon as the incident was reported, the local police immediately reached the spot and took the body into custody and shifted it to the hospital for post-mortem. The police collected 2 empty shells of 30 bore pistols and other important evidence from the spot, in the light of which a comprehensive investigation has been started on various aspects.
According to the police, a formal case will be registered after ascertaining the facts on the arrival of the relatives of the deceased.
