Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says that he has spoken to Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdul Hayan, we jointly condemned the heinous act of desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.
Bilawal Bhutto said that such Islamophobic incidents fuel religious intolerance, hatred and provocation.
He said that such incidents cannot be justified under any pretext.
The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan and Iran have reiterated their commitment to fight Islamophobia and work together with other OIC countries.
He added that we also discussed other areas of mutual interest.
