Islamabad: Due to inflation, unemployment and political instability in Pakistan, the number of people going abroad has increased 3 times, since the current government came to power, 1.2 lakh youth have left the country so far.
According to private TV, the total number of emigrants has exceeded 12.8 million. In terms of the rate of emigration of young people, Pakistan has topped the neighboring countries.
According to the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, there has been an alarming increase in the number of Pakistanis going abroad in the current year, 395 thousand 166 people have migrated in the first 6 months of 2023.

According to a report, the number of immigrants has increased from 9 million to 12.8 million 56 thousand 519 in the recent period out of a population of about 25 million, which is 5.14% of the total country’s population.
In the year 2022, 8 lakh 32 thousand 339 people went abroad, which is 6.47 percent of Pakistanis living abroad. The total population of the neighboring country India is about one billion 40 million, of which 32 million people are living abroad.
