The overall law and order situation of the country was considered in the meeting chaired by Chairman Islamic Ideological Council Dr. Qibla Ayaz.
Leaders of religious and political parties of the country and senior officials of relevant institutions also participated in the meeting.
According to the sources, the meeting discussed the establishment of law and order during Muharram, government initiatives and suggestions of scholars and scholars.
Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, Allama Arif Wahidi, Pir Naqibur Rahman, Allama Shabbir Maithami, Allama Nasir Shirazi, Maulana Ahmad Ludhianvi, Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani, Allama Hussain Akbar and Allama Iftikhar Naqvi also participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, the Islamic Ideological Council approved the code of conduct for Muharram-ul-Haram, this 18-point code of conduct was signed by all the scholars.
According to the code of conduct, all citizens have the duty to fulfill the oath of loyalty to the state, armed action against the state, violence and disorder will also be considered rebellion.
It is in the code of conduct that no one has the right to declare anyone as an infidel including the government, armed forces and other security personnel. Scholars and people should fully support security agencies and armed forces.
According to the code of conduct, one should avoid being a part of movements based on sectarianism and prejudices, the state will take strict action against such groups, no one will blaspheme any Muslim.
The Code of Conduct also states that no one shall promote any kind of terrorism. There shall be no hateful speeches from mosques, mosques, mihrabs and imambargahs.
In this regard, Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, Qibla Ayaz, while holding a press conference with scholars of different schools of thought, said that a common code of conduct has been prepared under the Islamic Ideological Council regarding Muharram.
Qibla Ayaz said that it is the duty of all citizens to recognize the supremacy of the Constitution of Islamic Democratic Pakistan, to honor the state of Pakistan and at the same time to fulfill the oath of loyalty to the state in all circumstances.
He said that all the citizens of the country should ensure the respect of fundamental rights according to the constitution of Pakistan. Equality, social and political rights, freedom of expression, belief, worship and assembly are guaranteed by the constitution.
Qibla Ayaz said that the citizens of Pakistan have the right to fight peacefully for the implementation of Sharia, no one has the right to declare anyone as an infidel, including the government and armed forces personnel. The state and state institutions should be supported to eradicate violence from the society.
He also said not to be a part of movements based on linguistic, regional, religious and communal prejudices against the state. The state should take strict action against groups having linguistic, religious and communal prejudices.
