In a big shock to British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak, the ruling party lost two out of three seats in the by-election.
The Conservative Party could not even save a majority of 20,000 seats.
Labor won the Selby and Anstey seat, the Lib Dems won the Somerton and Frome seat.
The Conservative Party only won the seat vacated by Boris Johnson’s resignation.
It should be noted that the seats were vacant due to the resignation of Conservative Party members of parliament.
