Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Poland not to show any aggression towards its ally Belarus.
According to international media reports, the Russian President said in the Security Council meeting that if Poland imagines any kind of aggression against Belarus, it will be considered an attack on Russia.
He added that aggression against Belarus means aggression against Russia and we will respond strongly with all means at our disposal.
It should be noted that Belarus is one of the biggest supporters of Russia in the Ukraine war, while the above-mentioned threats, which can increase the tension between Russia and Europe, are not the first time. Putin’s response came after the Polish government said it plans to expand its military presence near the border with Belarus, as well as build new defense systems there.
