Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the discussion on the cipher issue may lead to the disqualification of Chairman PTI.
While talking to Geo News in Islamabad, Khawaja Asif said that 100% Article 6 can be imposed on Chairman PTI, a cipher is a secret document which was used for politics, the cipher was shown from his pocket and then said to have been lost.
He said that there can be no treason to the greater country, national security has been compromised through the Official Secrets Act, this person can use the secret document for his political gains.
The defense minister said that if the cipher was lost, what was shown by taking it out of the pocket, Azam Khan’s statement is important and his colleagues are also saying the same things we used to do.
Khawaja Asif said that the judicial officer before whom Azam Khan gave a statement can be asked, if the former prime minister has reservations about the statement, then tell the court whether Azam Khan’s statement is correct.
The PML-N leader said that Article 6 was imposed on me because of Iqama, Bashir Memon did not allow Article 6 to be imposed, if Article 6 can be imposed on Iqama then it is a secret document, Article 6 is 100% applicable to this case.
He said that Fawad Hasan Fawad and Ahad Cheema served long imprisonment and remained firm, Fawad Hasan Fawad and Ahad Cheema’s faith was sustained by Allah, these people were told to give a statement against Nawaz Sharif.
