Movement of British diplomats in Russia has been banned.
The Russian Foreign Ministry imposed the ban on Thursday, saying British diplomats must give five days’ notice of their travel plans to Russian authorities for trips of more than 120 kilometers, the news agency from Moscow said.
However, the ban will apply to diplomats other than the British ambassador in Moscow and the three most senior diplomats.
It is said that this Russian embargo is a response to aggressive and hostile actions taken by Britain.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that for supporting the alleged terrorist actions of Ukraine and obstructing the Russian diplomatic process in the UK, the British Minister of Affairs in Moscow was summoned to the Foreign Office and recorded a protest.
