In the Indian state of Maharashtra, 16 people were killed due to landslides caused by heavy rains.
According to the Indian authorities, 16 bodies buried under the debris have been removed after the landslide in Raigad district.
While more than 80 people buried under the mud have been safely pulled out, dozens of people are still feared to be buried under the mud.
As 40 houses in the affected area were affected by the landslide, rescue operations have been suspended for today due to darkness and will resume tomorrow.
