A plane crashed in the South American country of Colombia, 5 political leaders of the opposition party were killed along with the pilot.
All five politicians belonged to the political party of former President Alvaro Uribe.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the small plane crashed in the area of San Luis de Gachino, the accident is being investigated.
On the plane were former senator Nohora Tavar, lawmaker Dimas Barreiro, gubernatorial candidate Elodoro Alvarez and municipal councilor Oscar Rodriguez.
The plane was en route from Villavicencio to Bogota where the politicians were to attend a political event.
