Finance Ministry officials have said that electricity bills will include radio fees along with TV fees.
In the meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance under the chairmanship of Senator Saleem Mandviwala, the officials of the Ministry of Finance said that 35 rupees PTV and 15 rupees radio fee will be imposed in electricity bills.
Officials said that the Senate committee had made this recommendation which has been acted upon.
Officials of the Ministry of Finance further said that the issue of privatization of institutions is related to policy, the recommendation was to privatize loss-making institutions.
Officials said that the Finance Ministry had received 55 recommendations from the Finance Committee.
