Double riding of motorcycles was banned on 9th and 10th of Muharram in Karachi.
The Sindh Home Department has issued a law and order notification according to which double riding of motorcycles will be banned in Karachi on 9th and 10th of Muharram.
According to the notification, women, children, disabled persons and senior citizens will be exempted from the ban on double riding.
All permits for carrying weapons have also been suspended by the Home Department.
According to the Interior Department, a ban has been imposed on all kinds of gatherings except Muharram-related gatherings.
