Karachi: In Shahr Quaid, 77 criminal groups involved in street crimes and other serious crimes have been identified and the police have been given the task of arresting them.

According to the details, a meeting of DIGs and SSPs has been held in the Karachi Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhu, in which a strategy has been prepared to arrest street criminals.

77 groups involved in street crime, robbery, robbery and other serious crimes have been identified in Karachi and the regional police officers have been given the task of arresting these accused as soon as possible.

Police sources say that 77 groups of more than 300 boys systematically commit street crimes in the city. The district SSPs have also prepared a final report in this regard and submitted it to the Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhu, which contains all the details of the groups, photos of the boys and the robbery cases.

In this regard, SSP East Zubair Nazir Sheikh says that all the data of the accused involved in street crimes in East district has been obtained, the data of the accused who have been arrested or are in jails has also been prepared so that the crimes Arrest of all accused in professional groups can be ensured.

SSP East Zubair Nazir Shaikh said that the police has made the slums the center of attention this time because the accused involved in street crimes who have been arrested in recent days belong to the suburbs of the city.

In view of the same, police personnel have been deployed at the entrances and exits of slums and suburban areas to help prevent incidents.

It should be noted that more than 45,000 incidents have been reported in the city so far this year, while 77 people, including 2 foreigners, have been killed by street criminals.
