Peshawar: A case has been registered for the suicide blast that took place yesterday in Hayatabad, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A case of the blast in Hayatabad was registered in the CTD police station under terrorism provisions by SHO Tatara, in which unknown accused have been named.

Other provisions including 7 ATA, 5 ESA and 324 have been added in the FIR.

According to the text of the FIR, the FC official was on duty in an official vehicle when the assailant rammed his vehicle into the FC vehicle in Hayatabad Phase 6, after which a loud explosion occurred in the vehicle of the suicide bomber.

According to the FIR, the FC vehicle was damaged in the blast while the officials were seriously injured, the nearby buildings were also damaged in the blast and the assailant was killed on the spot while the vehicle he was using was completely destroyed.

According to the plaintiff’s case, the face of the suicide bomber was preserved to a large extent and the fingerprints of both his hands are also intact.

It has been written in the FIR that the incident has been recorded in various CCT cameras, and samples of the attacker’s body have been obtained for the DNA test of the slain terrorist.

A major breakthrough in the investigation into the explosion near FC’s vehicle in Hayatabad Phase 6 came when the investigating agencies got the chassis number of the vehicle used in the terror attack.

According to the investigation team, up to 25 kg of explosives were kept in the CNG kit installed in the vehicle. Bomb disposal squad officials say that high-explosive explosives were used in the blast, and evidence of the use of a suicide vest is being examined.
