The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on July 25 over the cipher issue.

The Federal Investigation Agency says that notices have been issued to the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at the addresses of Bani Gala and Zaman Park.
The notice said that an investigation is underway against Chairman PTI for using the cipher for political purposes.
In the notice of FIA, Chairman PTI has been directed to bring relevant documents and evidence.
The Federal Investigation Agency has also issued notices to Asad Umar, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, FIA’s joint inquiry team has summoned Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Describing the cipher as a deliberate conspiracy, Azam Khan said that the PTI chairman said “by giving false color to the cipher, he will change the narrative of the people”.
According to Azam Khan, Chairman PTI took the cipher from him on March 9 and later lost it. Through the cipher drama, he sowed the seeds of hatred against the national security agencies in the public. Despite his prohibition, Chairman PTI has floated the secret message for personal gain.
