Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president and former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was transferred to Adiala Jail.
According to the jail authorities, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was taken out of Camp Jail at 5 am and was taken to Adiala Jail by motorway.
According to prison sources, Parvez Elahi has been transferred from Camp Jail to Adiala Jail with the approval of the government due to a high profile case.
Parvez Elahi’s physical examination has been completed in Adiala Jail, the decision of which class he will be kept is yet to be decided.
It should be noted that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was detained for 30 days under the order of Deputy Commissioner Lahore under 3MPO.
