Peshawar: The health department has written a letter to FIA to take action against the employees who spread wrong information on social media.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has requested FIA to take strict action against the employees of the Health Department who are involved in spreading wrong information through various social media platforms.
The letter to the cyber crime wing of FIA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that a social media group is active in spreading false information due to which baseless news is being spread to the public which is damaging the reputation of the government. .
It has been said in the letter that due to these baseless news, the trend of mistrust between institutions and people is also growing. The letter calls for an investigation to stop this trend of misinformation and fake news.
