Police personnel belonging to the Hindu community have been deployed to protect the temples in Upper Sindh.
300 Hindu policemen have been sent to guard temples in Kashmore, Kandhkot, Shikarpur, Ghotki.
The Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police had directed the deployment of Hindu policemen to guard the temples.
According to the Sindh Police, the Hindu policemen deployed to guard the temples belong to the districts of Tharparkar, Mithi, Mirpur Khas and Tandwalhiyar.
A few days ago, after Seema Haider of Khairpur went to India to get married, robbers threatened to attack the temples, in view of which this action has been taken by IG Sindh.
