Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the armed forces should always be ready to deal with any threat to national security.
Army Chief General Asim Munir while addressing the Corps Commanders Conference said that objective training is the hallmark of our professionalism.
Corps commanders were briefed on the internal security situation, the forum paid tribute to the soldiers who made great sacrifices against terrorism.
According to the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army ISPR, operational preparations and training aspects of the army were also discussed in the conference.
Asakar Pakistan said that the banned TTP and other terrorist groups are threatening the country’s security. Sanctuaries of the TTP and its other groups have been noted in the neighboring country.
The participants of the conference said that the availability of modern weapons with the terrorists was noted, the modern weapons of the terrorists are the major reasons for affecting the security of Pakistan.
The forum was briefed on economic recovery plan, investment, agriculture and IT.
Corps commanders were also apprised of the Army’s role in the minerals and defense production sectors.
The participants expressed their determination to provide all possible technical and administrative support to the measures for the recovery of the economy.
