Mumbai: Bollywood’s famous actress Priyanka Chopra has also supported the writers’ strike in Hollywood.
SAG-AFTRA, the largest union of actors and actresses in Hollywood, announced recently that it would join the industry’s ongoing writers’ strike.
On Instagram, Priyanka Chopra posted a photo supporting the strike, with the actress captioning it as standing with her fellow artistes and her union.
Due to the strike, many Hollywood programs and films have been delayed, with the shooting of Priyanka and John Cena’s ‘Head of State’ also stalled.
The promotional campaign of Hollywood films ‘Oppenheimer’ and ‘Barbie’ has also been affected by the strike and the cast of ‘Oppenheimer’ walked out from the London premiere as the strike began.
Earlier, the strike was announced by the Screen Actors Guild after they failed to reach new contracts with the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers.
