Sargodha: The poor woman gave birth to the child on the railway line itself.
According to the rescue sources, the poor woman was going to the hospital on foot when her health deteriorated on the way. A citizen called Rescue 1122 after seeing the condition of the suffering woman.
When the Rescue 1122 team reached the spot, the woman was in a life-and-death struggle. In view of the alarming situation, the female members of the rescue team assisted the woman in childbirth on the spot.
According to rescue sources, the mother and child were transferred to the hospital after delivery while providing timely medical assistance.
