The pipeline supplying water to Karachi from Dhabji pumping station burst.
According to Water Board officials, the 72-inch pipeline number 5 burst at 6:35 am due to a power breakdown.
In this regard, the officials of the Water Board say that 7 pumps supplying water to Karachi were shut down due to the rupture of the line.
Officials say that the repair work of the affected pipeline will be started soon.
It should be noted that Dhabiji Pumping Station is supplied with electricity by K Electric.
