Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that problems have arisen due to the violation of the IMF agreement, avoiding default is a success, foreign exchange reserves have now reached 14 billion dollars.
Talking to businessmen and industrialists in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif said that the program of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was approved due to the hard work of the entire team.
He said that the previous government had dealt a blow to the relations with the US, the current government worked day and night to restore Pakistan-US relations.
The prime minister further said that in 15 months the relations with the US were normalized, the result of better relations is that the US welcomed the IMF program.
He said that we should not put personal interests above national interests, the IMF MD said that the agreement was violated in the past.
Shahbaz Sharif also said that the violation of the IMF agreement caused problems, nothing was hidden from the nation, everyone should know what stages we went through.
He said that after 9 months we have got this Sikh breath, now what to do next is important, foreign exchange reserves have now reached 14 billion dollars.
The Prime Minister said that when the government took over, the foreign exchange reserves were 14 or 15 billion dollars.
