It has been 29 years since the release of Bollywood star Anil Kapoor’s famous film ‘1942: A Love Story’.
Anil Kapoor took to Instagram to share some pictures from the film, which also stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff and Anupam Kher.
He captioned it saying, 29 years ago I played the role of a good man who only wanted to spread love in the world and now 29 years later I am playing the role of the worst man in the world who spreads war and chaos.
Anil Kapoor said that I am very lucky that I got the opportunity to play this wonderful role.
“From ‘1942 A Love Story’ to The Night Manager, I have certainly come a long way,” he said.
The film is considered to be one of the best films of Anil Kapoor’s career, after which Anil’s career took off.
The film’s songs ‘Ek Ladchi Ko Dekha’ and ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ impressed the audience immensely and these songs are still a part of people’s playlists.
