According to the data of the Ministry of Finance, the tax income in 6 months was 3 thousand 731 billion rupees, the federal income was 3 thousand 428 billion while the provincial income was 303 billion rupees.
According to the report, the non-tax income during July to December was 967 billion rupees.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the current expenditure in 6 months was 6061 billion rupees, out of which 2 thousand 573 billion rupees were spent on interest payments.
According to the report, 638 billion rupees were spent on defense in the first six months of this financial year.
According to the Ministry of Finance, 296 billion rupees were borrowed from external sources to meet the budget deficit, while 1 thousand 979 billion rupees were obtained from local sources.
