Another low-cost airline has been launched in America by the name of Northern Pacific Airways, whose first and inaugural flight flew from Ontario to Las Vegas today.
Northern Pacific Airways is a low-cost domestic airline based in Anchorage, Alaska, USA.
The airline began operations on July 14, 2023 on a route from Ontario International Airport in California to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The airline used a Boeing 757 aircraft for the first flight of 39 minutes duration.
The airline’s launch was announced just a few weeks ago in May 2023 and the company has started operations with 4 aircraft from 14th July 2023.
The airline’s headquarters and main hub is in Anchorage, Alaska, USA.
The CEO of the airline is Rob McKinney while Tom Hsia is the president.
As of February 28, 2023, there are 371 domestic airlines operating in the United States.
So far, the airline business in the US has increased by 0.8% compared to the year 2022.
