Famous Pakistani actress Saba Faisal has commented on her domestic situation and said that a daughter-in-law can never become a daughter.
Actress Saba Faisal, who plays the unique roles of mother-in-law and mother in Pakistani dramas, recently participated in a private TV morning show along with other senior actresses.
Meanwhile, actresses Saba Faisal, Parveen Akbar and Farah Nadeem talked about raising children and changes in the new generation.
During the show, actress Faisal, while talking about the intolerance among the new generation girls, said that if girls want a settled life as soon as they get married and they want to have a car, a bungalow and money, then they should have a younger age. Instead of marrying a boy, one should marry a man in his 45s and 50s, who has everything.
Actress Saba Faisal clarified during the show that her son Arsalan Faisal is not married but only engaged.
Saba Faisal further said that he has arranged the engagement of his younger son Arsalan Faisal by his own choice.
While speaking in the program, he said in response to a question that his personal opinion is that a daughter-in-law can never become a daughter, daughter-in-law should be respected only in the relationship of daughter-in-law.
Explaining this statement, Saba Faisal further said that on the occasion of the recently passed Eid Qurban, she sat by the sacrificial animal for several hours and after a long time her daughter came to meet her.
The actress said that because her daughter was married, that’s why she came late to meet her, but if her daughter-in-law came to visit her on Eid after taking such a long time, she would get angry and her daughter-in-law would be in her mind. There are wrong ideas about it.
Actress Parveen Akbar agreed with this statement of Saba Faisal, she said that she too was never convinced that a daughter-in-law is a daughter and a mother-in-law can become a mother.
Saba Faisal continued to say that the house of the in-laws is the house of the daughters-in-law, they should take responsibility for everything in their in-laws, so they think that the daughter-in-law can never be a daughter.
Speaking in the program, Saba Faisal termed the children as a temptation and said that they taught her to live and she is living a very good life because of her children.
During the show, Saba Faisal also spoke about bringing the issue of differences with her daughter-in-law and elder son Salman Faisal on social media in the past.
He said that she should not have shared domestic affairs on social media but as a human being she was helpless and made a mistake.
