RussiaParliament has passed a new law banning gender reassignment surgery in the country.
The Russian State Duma has approved a bill that would ban changing your gender on your documents. The aforementioned bill now needs approval from the Upper House and President Putin, after which the law will finally come into force.
Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said the bill ensures the safety of our citizens and our children.
Mr Willoden described sex reassignment surgery as a path to the decline of the nation. He said that what is happening unnaturally in the Western and European world, we are the only European country that opposes it and families and traditional Doing everything to save the values.
He said that we need to understand that if we do not adopt this law and ban gender reassignment, then this nation has no future.
