New Delhi: As the water level in the Yamuna River rose, floodwaters entered residential areas and swept away everything in its path. After the Chief Minister’s House and the Assembly Hall, the flood relay now camped around the Supreme Court.

According to Indian media, the water level in Yamuna was 208.62 meters at 1 pm today as water is being released into the river from Hathnikund Barrage in Haryana. The current water level is still three meters above the danger mark.

All the appeals of the Chief Minister of New Delhi and the political rivals of the Modi government have been of no use and the Modi government does not seem to be willing to provide relief to the people.
