The performance report of the Public Accounts Committee was released, recovery of 1 thousand 153 billion rupees was made between December 2018 and May 2023.
According to the report, 12 thousand 741 audit paragraphs were discussed during this period. 119 audit paragraphs were transferred to NAB and 94 to FIA while 3 thousand 839 paragraphs and 721 grants were dealt with.
The released report also includes the performance report of Noor Alam Khan after becoming the chairman of PAC.
During June 2022 to May 2023, recovery of 556 billion 52 crore rupees was made. During this period, 600 audit paragraphs were discussed, 145 paragraphs and 73 grants were disposed of.
The report further stated that 34 audit cases were sent to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) while 20 cases were sent to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
