Petitions against Practice and Procedure Act rescheduled for hearing

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has once again fixed the petitions against the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act for hearing.

An 8-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial will hear the case on July 21.

Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan, Justice Muneeb Akhtar will be part of the bench.

Justice Mazhar Naqvi, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar will also join the bench.

Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Shahid Waheed will also be part of the bench.

It should be noted that the court has issued a restraining order on the implementation of the Supreme Court Practice and Procedural Act.
