The spokesperson of K Electric, the organization that provides electricity to Karachi, says that the people of Lyari condemn the damage to the office of K Electric.
A spokesperson for K Electric said in a statement that it is grateful to the law enforcement agencies that dispersed the protesters.
The spokesperson of K Electric says that everyone wants electricity, but continuous supply of electricity is not possible without paying the bills.
Spokesman K Electric has said that in areas where electricity theft and losses are more than 70%, continuous supply of electricity is difficult.
The spokesperson of K Electric further said that consumers of Lyari and adjoining areas have to pay Rs 10 billion towards bills.
Spokesperson K Electric says that the local representatives should ensure the payment of the bills so that the situation improves.
It should be noted that yesterday the people of Lyari area of Karachi lost their temper due to long load shedding of electricity, they stormed the head office of K Electric.
The people of Lyari broke the windows of the office with stones and sticks.
After several hours of protest, the management of the institution negotiated and sent the protestors back after assuring them that there would be no load shedding.
