Karachi Press Club journalists will solve the problems of colonies on priority basis, Nasir Hussain Shah

Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that journalists of Karachi Press Club will solve the problems of colonies on priority basis. Orders have been issued to DC Kemari and DG LDA for demarcation of LDA Block 68.

He expressed these views while meeting with the governing body and senior journalists of the Karachi Press Club and talking to the media on the occasion of his visit to the Karachi Press Club along with Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon.

Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that Jamaat-e-Islami has benefited from MQM’s boycott in local elections. We do the politics of reconciliation, but we are being treated with the politics of hypocrisy.

He said that the mandate of Karachi is with us, we have not committed any robbery. The benefit of MQM boycott is known to all.

He said that the abuse that happened to us in 1979 is a part of history. Now you will get to see a new Karachi.

200 billion projects have been earmarked for Karachi. Many new schemes have been launched and many projects are in final stages.

On this occasion, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that a coordination committee is being formed to solve all the problems of Karachi Press Club’s LDA and MDA’s housing scheme which is Malir Development Authority and Lyari Development Authority. The journalist will solve the problems of the colonies. The committee will include Secretary Information, DG MDA and LDA and President and Secretary of Karachi Press Club.

He said that there were many campaigns against us, propaganda was done under a well-thought-out conspiracy, but we do not believe in such politics. We are democratic minded people. The rest of the parties always maintained an authoritarian attitude.

Sharjeel Memon said that the previous government used to invite journalists of their choice and give interviews so that they could ask questions of their choice.

He said that what the mandate thief party has done to this country and the nation is in front of you, today they are complaining that we are not being heard even though they started it themselves. He acted on all of the dictatorial thinking. During his tenure, political rivals were locked up in false cases, the media was banned.

The provincial minister said that the only contender for freedom of expression is the People’s Party, which believes in service and gentleness.

Sharjeel Memon said that the condition of MQM and Jamaat-e-Islami is in front of you. You are seeing the cleaning work in Karachi. Those who had the government of Karachi did not give anything. Be it transport or health, we are number one.

Earlier, a meeting of provincial ministers and club officials was held regarding housing schemes of Karachi Press Club and plots for new members.

President Karachi Karachi Press Club Saeed Sarbazi said that today was a one-window meeting. The payment of plots of MDA Scheme Tesar Town will be made according to the previous formula. Orders have been issued to LDA and DC Kemari for demarcation of block 68 and there are also schemes for development works in MDA and LDA.

Secretary Karachi Press Club Shoaib Ahmed said that we are grateful to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that he is taking great steps to solve the problems of journalists. It is hoped that the Karachi Press Club’s grants will be increased and the plots of the members will be resolved on a priority basis.
