According to the spokesperson of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), more than 63 billion 47 crores have been distributed to 7 million 53 thousand deserving families under Benazir Kafalat quarterly scholarships till the evening of July 11.
Spokesperson BISP further informed that money is being distributed to 90 lakh registered households under Benazir sponsorship. 9000 per household is being given in the current quarterly installment from April to June.
The spokesman said that along with special sponsorship, special educational scholarships are also being given to the children of registered families. 70% school attendance is mandatory for availing scholarships.
According to BISP spokesperson, in case of any complaint, the nearest tehsil office of Benazir Income Support Program or helpline number 080026477 can be contacted.
Remember Benazir Income Support Program can only be contacted through 8171. According to the spokesman, the message received from any other number should not be trusted.
